Fourth of July is as much a food holiday as Thanksgiving: What would it be without hot dogs, hamburgers, potato salad, and corn on the cob?!

Juicy Cheese Burger

Ingredients:

- 1 1/2 pounds beef chuck, cut into 1-inch cubes

- Kosher salt and freshly ground black pepper

- 4 slices of cheese

- 4 hamburger buns

- Toppings as desired

Grilled Sausage With Sweet-and-Sour Peppers and Onions Recipe

Ingredients:

- 1 tablespoon (15ml) vegetable oil

- 1 large onion, sliced into 1/4-inch strips (about 2 cups)

- 2 red bell peppers, stems and cores removed, sliced into 1/4-inch strips

- 2 green bell peppers, stems and cores removed, sliced into 1/4-inch strips

- 3 tablespoons (45ml) apple cider vinegar

- 3 tablespoons (45g) sugar

- Kosher salt and freshly ground black pepper

- 2 pounds (900g) sweet or hot Italian sausage

- Buns, for serving

Grilled BBQ Chicken Wings

Ingredients:

- 3 cups freshly squeezed orange juice

- 1 cup freshly squeezed lime juice

- 1/2 cup sea salt or kosher salt

- 8 garlic cloves, smashed

- 2 tablespoons sugar

- 2 tablespoons soy sauce

- 2 tablespoons dried oregano

- 1 tablespoon black peppercorns

- 2 lemons, halved

- 1 teaspoon ground cumin

- 5 1/2 pounds chicken wings

- 2 tablespoons garlic salt

- 1 tablespoon freshly ground black pepper

- 1 teaspoon cayenne pepper

- 1/4 cup chopped scallion, for garnish

- 1/4 cup cilantro leaves, for garnish

- Molasses BBQ sauce for serving
