Top 2 Summer Beverages

How to make:

- 1 750 ml bottle hearty, bold rosé (such as a Pinot Noir or Merlot rosé)

- ½ cup sugar

- 8 ounces strawberries, hulled, quartered

- 2½ ounces fresh lemon juice


- Freeze bottle of rose in a container for 6 hours

- Boil the water and sugar until the sugar dissolves and then add the strawberries to the mixture.

- Let that strawberries soak for 30 minutes and chill.

- Strain the strawberry syrup and put in the fridge whilst juicing the lemons.

- Take the frozen rosé out the freezer and blend it with the strawberry syrup and lemon juice and a handful of ice.

- Freeze the mixture again for up to an hour and blend again and serve.


How to make:

- 200ml Pimm's No. 1

- 600ml lemonade

- Mint

- Sprigs, sliced cucumber, sliced orange and strawberries, to serve


- Mix all ingredients in a large jug. Add ice to serve chilled.
